The 30-year-old was sentenced to 20 years in prison after she tried to hire a hitman to kill her husband during a sting operation in 2009.

Dippolito wants an appellate court toĀ  throw out her conviction because she alleges judicial misconduct in a previous trial.

She also claims there was a conflict of interest by her trial attorney, and that he didn't represent her fairly.

Dippolito has been on house arrest since 2011 after posting bond.
