MIAMI - The Miami Heat are throwing it back to the disco days as part of a tribute to the American Basketball Association.
On Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers, the team will transform into the Miami Floridians as part of the NBA's tribute to the former league.
The team will wear uniforms from the 1971-1972 season, featuring magenta and orange vertical stripes.
The Floridians will make their debut against the 76ers, and will play again hosting the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.
Heat fans are being asked to attend the games dressed in their favorite 70's fashions. All music and in-game activities will be themed to the decade.
Other Miami Floridian throwback games are on Feb. 5, Feb. 7 and Mar. 6 and 7.
