MIAMI - Jerry became a remnant low Thursday evening.

At 5 p.m., Jerry was 790 miles west-southwest of the Azores with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph. It was moving east-northeast at 14 mph.

Jerry was forecast to turn toward the northeast during the next 48 hours, then dissipate in a couple of days.
