Video shows burglars break into Oakland Park business

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. - The Broward Sheriff's Office released surveillance video Friday showing two men break into an Oakland Park business and steal fishing equipment.

The burglary happened at 171 NE 32nd Street on Nov. 1.

According to BSO, the video showed the two men remove safety bars that were bolted to a window and then break the window to get inside.

Once inside the store, the men stole $13,000 worth of fishing reels and rods.

One of the burglars is described as a stout male who was wearing a dark-color tank top and long, jean shorts. The second burglar is described as having average weight and height who was last seen wearing long basketball shorts and a white T-shirt.

Anyone with information about this burglary is asked to call BSO 954-202-3131 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest.
