FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The Fort Lauderdale Police Department’s SWAT team responded Wednesday morning to the scene of a barricaded man inside a vehicle.
Fort Lauderdale police spokeswoman Casey Liening said the man, who was inside the car at 2730 NW 26th St. was possibly armed.
Authorities later confirmed that the man was taken into custody without incident.
No other details were immediately released.
