Small fire prompts Coral Ridge Mall evacuation

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A small fire in an office prompted an evacuation on Wednesday night of the Coral Ridge Mall in Fort Lauderdale.

Fort Lauderdale firefighters responded after 8 p.m. to the mall at 3200 N. Federal Hwy.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire inside the office at a store and no one was injured. The mall reopened shortly after.
