ST BERNARD PARISH, La. – Residents of Louisiana are dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, including overwhelming floodwaters.

Workers responded and used chainsaws to get a cow out of a tree in the St. Bernard Parish, just southeast of New Orleans, right on the Mississippi River, on Wednesday.

The cow was stuck on a precarious perch, but crews were able to get it down safely.
