Miami millionaire: Scratch-off winner sold in Hialeah

HIALEAH, Fla. – A gas station in Hialeah has sold South Florida’s latest big winning ticket.

Florida Lottery announced that Nayvi Brizuela, 36, of Miami, hit for the top prize in the Fastest Road to $1,000,000 scratch-off game .

She bought the lucky $30 ticket at West Hialeah U-Gas at 7950 West 28th Avenue.

Brizuela took her winnings in a lump-sum payment of $790,000, state lottery officials said.

The gas station collects a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
