LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – Authorities were seen surrounding a Broward County apartment complex Wednesday night.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies encountered a barricaded subject after responding to a shots fired call just after 6 p.m.
It happened at the Pacific Point apartments located at 3700 Pacific Point Place in Lauderdale Lakes.
BSO confirmed that SWAT officers were called to the scene to assist.
Deputies said it does not appear anyone was shot.
Several hours after arriving, authorities were able to detain one person.
The investigation is ongoing.
