BSO investigating after shots fired at vehicle


PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Broward sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of shots fired at a vehicle Monday night, possibly on Interstate 95.

According to BSO spokesman Carey Codd, the shooting was reported at 9:49 p.m., but authorities are still trying to determine exactly where the shooting occurred.

Deputies believe the incident may have occurred in Pompano Beach, and the victim then traveled to a RaceTrac gas station along Hallandale Beach Boulevard in Pembroke Park, where the crime was reported.

Codd confirmed that no one was injured in the shooting.

The motive for the shooting is unclear at this time.
