MIAMI, Fla. – Get ready for a major closure next week for drivers who want to head northbound or southbound over the Brickell Avenue Bridge. The good news is that it won’t affect daytime traffic, but the bad news is anyone wanting to travel over the bridge past 9 p.m. will have to find an alternate route.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is closing both lanes of the bridge (SR90/US 41) beginning Tuesday, June 28 through Friday, July 1 and again from Tuesday, July 5 through Thursday, July 7 for maintenance.
