WEST PERRINE, Fla. – The Miami-Dade Police Department identified a murder victim on Friday as Javonte Summers.
Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the fatal shooting on Thursday in West Perrine.

Detectives are investigating Summers’ murder in the area near the intersection of Southwest 107 Avenue and 177 Street.
A LinkedIn account with a picture of Summers wearing a cap and gown listed him as a proud graduate of Miami Southridge Senior High School’s Class of 2020.
Police officers were asking anyone with information about the case to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
