Hunsberger said it was later determined that the shooting occurred in the area of Redland Road and Northwest Third Street.

Both victims were airlifted to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital and are expected to survive.

According to Hunsberger, a man called police a short time later to report that he had been shot in another location.

That victim was airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center, and he is also expected to survive.

Hunsberger said it’s unclear whether both shootings are related, but “there is a strong possibility that they are.”

A description of the shooter or shooters was not immediately known.

Anyone with further information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
