Police confirm large snake spotted in Doral

DORAL, Fla. – Police are informing the public of a “very large snake” that was spotted in Doral on Monday.

Doral Police said in an Instagram post that the reptile was seen in the area of NW 114th Avenue.

Police are asking anyone who encounters the snake, to stay away and call 911 or report it to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Exotic Species Hotline at 888-483-4681.

The FWC is also asking the public to call the hotline to report any high-priority species which includes any nonnative snakes.
