NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A 55-year-old man is facing a felony charge after a 16-year-old girl told police he showed her a photo of his penis while she worked out at a North Miami Beach gym.
North Miami Beach police arrested Domingo Guillermo Reyes, who resides in the city, on a charge of distributing obscene material to a minor Friday.

According to police, the incident happened just after 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Planet Fitness at 1630 NE 163rd St.
An arrest report states that the girl had been working out when she said she noticed a man, later identified as Reyes, holding a phone close to his chest and pointing it towards her.
She told detectives she thought Reyes “was taking pictures of her” but said she “did not pay too much attention, thinking it might have been a coincidence,” the report states.
But Reyes then turned his phone towards her and showed the teeager a photo of his penis, police said.
She “could not believe it and quickly turned to look away,” the arrest report states. Police said she then texted her stepfather that the man was taking pictures of her and to “please pick her up.”
Police said she then walked downstairs and saw Reyes appearing to follow her, but he walked out of the gym.
The report states the girl’s stepfather saw Reyes outside smoking near his car and took a photo of his license plate.
According to police, CCTV footage provided by Planet Fitness showed Reyes holding the phone to his chest while working out.
In the video, police said Reyes’ “phone is unlocked, a picture is clearly displayed, and the phone is pointed directly toward the victim for approximately one minute.”
“(Reyes) appears to be intentionally holding his unlocked phone in such a manner as to ensure the victim would see the picture of the defendant nude, with his penis displayed,” the report states. “Video footage shows the victim turning around and proceeding to get on her phone to text her dad to pick her up.”
Police said employees at Planet Fitness called them Friday to report that Reyes had returned to the gym.
When police spoke with him at the scene, he claimed he didn’t know what incident officers were referring to and said he wouldn’t take pictures of anyone, the report states, saying “the only thing he does while at the gym is listen to music and work out.”
“If she did see any explicit photos, it might have been by accident,” police said he told them.
Authorities said Reyes agreed to show police the photos on his phone, and “among them were several photos of (himself) naked, and other close-up pictures of (his) penis.”
Reyes, a Honduran national, was being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $5,000 bond as of Monday.
