Small plane overshoots Miami Executive Airport runway

MIAMI – The pilot of a fixed-wing single-engine plane overshot the runway on Monday in Miami-Dade County.

The plane was on a field of grass at Miami Executive Airport, formerly known as the Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport.

The plane’s tail number, N52LV, is registered to a 1971 Beechcraft A24R, according to public records.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel did not report any injuries. The plane did not appear to be damaged.
