A Miami-Dade police spokesperson told Local 10 News that workers were cutting grass and blowing leaves when nearby homeowners told them to stop working in their area, which led to an argument.

Authorities said during the confrontation, one of the homeowners pulled out a gun and shot one of the workers.

The victim was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition and two people were detained at the scene following the incident, according to police.

Police have not identified the victim or suspects involved in the shooting at this time.
