MIAMI — A woman was detained early Friday morning after a man was fatally shot at a motel in Miami, authorities confirmed.
The shooting was reported at the Ernesto Motel, located at 4001 W. Flagler St.
According to Miami police, officers responded to the scene around 12:45 a.m. and found a man in his 40s who had been shot.
Miami Fire Rescue crews also responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Police confirmed that a woman was detained at the scene for questioning.
No other details were immediately released.
