BSO detectives search for missing, endangered Pompano Beach woman

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help Wednesday in locating a 59-year-old woman who they say was reported missing from Pompano Beach.

Authorities said Vilma Dwake was last seen around 5:30 p.m. on Friday near the 200 block of Southeast Eighth Street.

They also said she is believed to be endangered.

According to detectives, Dwake is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs around 130 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.
