Deputies locate 29-year-old man reported missing from central Broward

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit said 29-year-old Yovam David McCook was safely located and reunited with family.

A BSO missing persons alert was issued on Aug. 28 after McCook was last seen near the 2700 block of Northwest Seventh Street in unincorporated Central Broward.

Authorities have not said what led to his disappearance.
