MIAMI — More than 500 runners raced up their sneakers for the fourth annual Race For Our Future 5K.
It was held Sunday morning in Brickell.
The event was created to support the Cleo Institute.
The mission of the non-profit is bringing awareness about what the group says is extreme weather, climate change, and other environmental concerns.
The run is three miles, but supporters say the journey to save the planet is endless.
Food vendors and other street vendors were on hand, as well we familiar faces like Zoo Miami’s Ron Magill who are concerned that Florida’s increasing heat and violent storms are trying to tell us something, that danger signs on Earth cannot be ignored.
