MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — An off-duty deputy was injured overnight Saturday after a driver crashed into his personal motorcycle in northwest Miami-Dade.

The crash happened along Northwest 22nd Avenue and 58th Street, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say the deputy was taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital and is in stable condition.

Investigators say the other driver involved stayed at the scene. No other details have been released.
