NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a reported shooting overnight in North Lauderdale.
A Local 10 News crew was in the 7900 block of Southwest Seventh Court Friday morning as investigators remained at the scene, placing evidence markers on the ground before a Ford Mustang was towed away.
The driver’s side window was blown out by bullets.
Residents who live in the neighborhood told Local 10 News that they heard the sound of gunshots around 1 a.m.
“I was coming home from a long night,” one man said. “I got home, I fell asleep and I woke up to gunshots, like they were pumping magazines or something that it woke me up.”
Bloody bandages and medical supplies were spotted at the scene after the incident.
