NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Four people, including two minors, have now been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting last week in North Lauderdale that authorities say left a 19-year-old dead and another man injured.
According to deputies with the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred around 1 a.m. Friday near the 7900 block of Southwest Seventh Court.
Investigators said 19-year-old O’Mari Doe was inside a 2020 Ford Mustang when gunfire erupted. Deputies said Doe suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was airlifted to Broward Health North, where he was later pronounced dead.
They said a second victim, 20-year-old Maurice Vorroto, of Coconut Creek, was found outside the Mustang suffering from a gunshot wound. Authorities confirmed that his injuries were not life-threatening.
Deputies said Doe, Vorroto, and two other victims were sitting inside the Mustang when Aamir Dennard Adams, 19, Anthony Adams, 18, and two boys, ages 15 and 16, arrived in a black Honda Accord.

According to investigators, witnesses told detectives the suspects got out of the car armed with handguns and fired multiple shots into the Mustang before fleeing the area.
Authorities later identified the suspect vehicle and issued a be-on-the-lookout alert to surrounding law enforcement agencies.
Investigators said a Fort Lauderdale police officer later spotted the Honda Accord, prompting a pursuit that ended near the 900 block of Southwest 13th Street in Fort Lauderdale after the suspects bailed out of the vehicle.
Detectives said all four suspects were located and arrested, and guns were recovered from inside the car.
Aamir Adams, Anthony Adams and the two boys who have not yet been identified each face one count of first-degree premeditated murder and three counts of attempted first-degree murder, along with criminal attempt to solicit or conspire and resisting an officer without violence, according to BSO.
The investigation remains ongoing.
