RV fire spreads to home in northwest Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — An RV caught fire early Friday morning and the flames spread to a nearby house, first responders told Local 10 News.

According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials, the fire was reported in the 12200 block of Northwest 17th Place.

The fire has since been extinguished. A couple was homeless, but not injured, according to firefighters.

Several neighbors had to evacuate to avoid the smoke. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
