MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A man was critically injured in a shooting Saturday night in northwest Miami-Dade, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 8:48 p.m. to a ShotSpotter alert near Northwest 17th Street and Northwest 69th Terrace.
Investigators said responding deputies found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to his upper and lower extremities.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the victim to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office detectives have taken over the investigation.
Authorities have not released any suspect information.
