The crash happened at around 3:15 p.m. at Angels of Paradise Mortuary, located at 2796 NW 46th St. in the county’s unincorporated Brownsville area.

Video from Sky 10 showed the crumpled brown dirt bike on the ground with the driver’s side window of the Cadillac hearse shattered.

Medics rushed the dirt bike rider to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

Officials with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed Wednesday morning that the man later died. They identified him Wednesday afternoon as 38-year-old Terrell Ray.

They said they are looking into whether speed was a factor in the crash.

Ray’s widow has since created a GoFundMe page to assist with funeral expenses.

“Terrell was a loving husband, brother, family member, and friend—well loved and respected by everyone who knew him,“ Mahogany Johnson-Ray wrote on the page. ”Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of a man who meant so much to so many."
