BOCA RATON, Fla. — Boca Raton police announced the arrest of a man in connection with a double shooting that occurred outside a restaurant.
It happened just after 12:30 a.m. on May 25 at The Standard Cuisine & Cocktails, located at 187 SE Mizner Blvd. in the Royal Palm Plaza shopping center.

Authorities have since taken the suspect, Christian Ippolito, into custody.
Police said Ippolito, 24, of Lantana, got into an argument with one of the victims ― whom he knew ― just outside the restaurant, pulled a gun from his waistband and fired two shots toward the victim.
One of the shots struck the victim in the chest while the other shot went into the restaurant and struck a patron in the leg, police said.
Medics rushed both victims to a nearby hospital.
Authorities have since said that the victim who was shot in the chest is in stable condition and the victim who was shot in the leg was later released from the hospital.
Police said Ippolito was taken into custody on Wednesday and remains behind bars at the Palm Beach County Jail on two charges of second-degree attempted murder with a firearm and one charge of shooting into an occupied dwelling.
