BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) — A powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia on Monday, causing serious damage to buildings in the region and prompting people to evacuate homes as far away as in the capital, Bogota. The regional governor said there had been an unspecified number of injuries.

COOPER CITY, Fla. — A car crash blocked the eastbound lanes of Griffin Road on Sunday night in Cooper City.

Deputies and fire rescue personnel responded to the 8700 block of Griffin Road.

At least one person was injured and needed hospital attention, according to fire rescue personnel.
