PLANTATION, Fla. — A death investigation is ongoing after a child was found deceased inside a vehicle in Broward County.

The scene was located outside A World of Discovery Academy at 7025 Northwest Fourth Street in Plantation.

According to police, first responders arrived after receiving reports of a deceased child inside a vehicle.

Upon arrival, Plantation Fire Department crews located the vehicle and pronounced the child deceased.

Authorities have not provided any additional information, including the circumstances that led to the child’s death or whether anyone would be facing charges.
