NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The Broward Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a child’s near drowning on Sunday morning.
Local 10 News’ cameras observed deputies putting up crime scene tape outside a home located on Pebble Beach Road not far from McNab Road in North Lauderdale after they said a boy was pulled from a pool around 10:30 a.m.
According to BSO, first responders got to the scene quickly and rushed the boy to a nearby hospital to be treated.
Deputies remained at the scene for several hours working to figure out what led up to the possible drowning.
All of this comes just days after a series of deadly drownings throughout Broward County.
A 2-year-old was found unresponsive in a lake in Planation last week, and a 4-year-old girl died in Plantation just a few days before that.
In early June, a 4-year-old died at the hospital after being pulled from a pool in North Lauderdale.
