WILTON MANORS, Fla. — A man was detained Friday morning following a possible shooting in Wilton Manors.
The investigation is unfolding at the Palm Gardens shopping center off North Andrews Avenue and Northeast 26th Drive.
Local 10’s Michaila Hightower was at the scene as a man was detained and placed in the back of a patrol car.
Another man was sitting on a nearby bus bench that was blocked off with crime scene tape. What appeared to be blood and pieces of clothing could be seen on the ground in the shopping center.
Police would not allow the man to speak with Local 10, telling Hightower that he was part of the investigation.
