MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies arrested a southwest Miami-Dade woman on Wednesday after they said she uploaded a video to TikTok showing herself molesting a 4-year-old boy.
An arrest report from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office states that TikTok tipped authorities off that Maylin Elena Viana, 29, had uploaded the illicit clip of herself and the victim.
The arrest report doesn’t state how Viana knows the child.
Deputies said Viana “admitted to recording the victim and his genitalia” and said they additionally found a video in an Instagram account of Viana engaging in further lewd conduct with the child.
Viana, who lives in the rural Redland area, was arrested on charges related to the promotion of child sexual abuse material and lewd and lascivious molestation.
As of Thursday, she was being held without bond in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
