MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Authorities in Miami-Dade County are investigating a shooting.
It happened early Thursday afternoon in the area of the 20300 block of Northwest 35th Avenue in Miami Gardens.
Officers rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, one person was taken by helicopter to HCA Florida Aventura Hospital as a trauma alert.
SKY 10 was over the scene around 2:15 p.m., where officers could be seen surrounding a vehicle that was left with the driver’s side door open and several items scattered on the ground next to the car.
Authorities have not provided any information on the circumstances that led up to the reported shooting.
