MIAMI — As the temporary in TPS ran out for hundreds of thousands of Haitians, faith leaders tried appealing to the hearts of lawmakers in Washington D.C.
So far it hasn’t worked. There has been no political miracle, at least not yet.
In the meantime, the heartbeat of Little Haiti needs a lifeline because Father Reginald Jean-Mary, better known as Father Reggie, says the people and families are broken.
Father Reggie has been the lead pastor at the Notre Dame d’Haiti Catholic Church for 25 years.
He sat down for a discussion with Local 10’s Calvin Hughes, and their full conversation can be seen at the top of this page.
