OAKLAND PARK, Fla. — A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a string of liquor thefts in Oakland Park, and Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are now searching for two other people believed to have been involved.
According to BSO, Kendrick Wallace is accused of stealing bottles of alcohol from several ABC Fine Wine & Spirits stores at least eight times during June and July.
Investigators said the thefts followed a simple pattern: The suspects would enter a liquor store, grab bottles of alcohol and walk out without paying.

Detectives said Wallace did not always act alone. BSO released surveillance video Tuesday from several of the thefts in hopes that the public can help identify two additional suspects seen with him.
Following an investigation, detectives identified Wallace as a suspect and arrested him July 30. He was booked into BSO’s Main Jail.
Wallace now faces several charges, including multiple retail thefts within a specified period and second-degree petit theft, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators believe Wallace and the other individuals may have targeted additional liquor stores elsewhere in Broward County.
BSO is asking other businesses that believe they may have been victims to come forward.
Anyone who recognizes either of the two additional people seen in the surveillance video or has information about the thefts is asked to contact BSO Oakland Park District Detective A. Tubbergen at 954-202-3121 or submit a tip through the SaferWatch app.
Anonymous tips can be submitted to Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477), through BrowardCrimeStoppers.org or by dialing **TIPS (8477) from any cellphone in the United States.
