WILTON MANORS, Fla. — Wilton Manors police said they swarmed a condominium complex on Thursday as they worked to apprehend a suspect in a “violent crime case.”

Wilton Manors police said on social media that they were working the incident in the area of the Manor Grove Village complex in the 1900 block of North Andrews Avenue.

Officers were seen at the complex with guns drawn. Fort Lauderdale police could also be seen at the scene in video from Sky 10.

Wilton Manors police did not provide any information about the “violent crime case.”

They asked neighbors to shelter in place and residents to avoid the area.
