PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. — A helicopter crashed southwest of U.S. 27 and Pembroke Road in Pembroke Pines on Saturday morning, police confirmed.
Authorities said two individuals were on board, and no injuries have been reported at this time. Both individuals are “ambulatory,” according to fire rescue officials.
They said Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene.
Officials said crews are working to gain access to the helicopter using air rescue and the Broward Sheriff’s Office track unit because of terrain issues.
They said drivers should expect possible traffic impacts in the area as crews respond to the crash.
No other details about the crash were immediately released.
