Deputies search for suspect who opened fire on cyclists in Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities in Miami-Dade County are searching for the person they said opened fire on a group of cyclists.

The incident was captured on video.

It happened just after 7:30 a.m. Saturday along Southwest 87th Avenue near 184th Lane.

In the video, the driver of a black SUV is heard honking his horn as the vehicle appeared to try and pass the cyclists.

It shows the SUV come to an abrupt stop, cutting off a cyclist who was then seen banging on the passenger door of the vehicle.

The video then shows someone from inside the vehicle appearing to open fire before the driver took off.

Deputies responded to reports of shots fired and arrived to find a bullet hole in the ground and no reported injures.
