2 teens hospitalized after stabbing at Miami Northwestern Senior High School, officials say

MIAMI — Authorities in Miami are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred at Miami Northwestern Senior High School.

It happened Monday just before 12:30 p.m. when Miami Fire Rescue crews responded the school, located at 1100 NW 71st St. in the Liberty City neighborhood, after receiving reports of an altercation.

According to officials, first responders found an 18-year-old who had been stabbed and rushed him to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition.

An MFR spokesperson said that medics also took a 15-year-old boy who had a cut to his hand to JHM. He was also in stable condition.

No other information about the incident or the injuries was immediately made available.

There has been no word from authorities on the circumstances that led up to the stabbings.
