MIAMI — A body was pulled from the Miami River early Monday morning, near the popular Kiki on the River restaurant, authorities confirmed.

According to Miami police, officers and Miami Fire Rescue crews responded to the 400 block of Northwest North River Drive in the city’s West Little River neighborhood shortly after 3 a.m. after receiving a report about a body that was spotted floating in the water.

Police said first responders located the body and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into how that person died remains ongoing, and it’s unclear whether foul play was involved.

No other details were immediately released.
