Man seriously injured after being stabbed in back at Miami-Dade county hall, first responders say

MIAMI — A 32-year-old man was seriously injured after being stabbed in the back Friday afternoon at the Stephen P. Clark Government Center in downtown Miami, according to Miami Fire Rescue officials.

Authorities said MFR medics responded to a stabbing call at the government center, located at 111 NW First St., at about 3:45 p.m.

They said the man was transported in serious condition to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

No other details about the victim, a possible suspect or motive were immediately released.
