NTSB to provide updates on cargo plane crash outside MIA

MIAMI — Officials with the National Transportation Safety Board will be providing an update on Sunday’s plane crash outside Miami International Airport.

Sunday afternoon, the Amazon cargo plane, operated by 21 Air, went off the end of a runway, crashing into several cars and catching fire before coming to a stop next to a parking lot.

Five people were killed and five others were hurt, with three of the injured victims listed in critical condition at last check.

Monday’s NTSB press conference is expected to begin at 4 p.m.
