HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — A victim remained in critical condition on Monday morning after a shooting the previous day at a hotel on Hollywood Beach, according to police.

The shooting happened just after 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Hyde Beach House at 4010 S. Ocean Drive.

According to the Hollywood Police Department, medics took the victim, who was found in the hotel’s lobby, to HCA Florida Aventura Hospital. Police did not release information about his or her age or gender.

Police said detectives “are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident” and authorities have not announced any arrests.
