MIAMI — A Miami man is facing 14 felony charges after police said he had more than a dozen child sexual abuse videos, one of which involved bestiality, investigators said.

A Miami Police Department arrest report states that the investigation into Seth Thomas Vela, 24, of Little Havana, began in 2025 after Dropbox alerted the National Center for Missing and Exploited children to five illicit files uploaded to the cloud storage site.

The report states that detectives found at least 13 videos of boys and girls as young as 1 to 3 years old being raped or sexually abused. One of the videos also involved a dog in the abuse, detectives said.

Police said they submitted a request to Google for information about the email address the Dropbox account was registered to, which pointed back to Vela, who was associated with at least a half-dozen other email addresses, including “methlabenjoyer@gmail.com.”

Another one of those additional email addresses pointed back to Vela’s home in the 200 block of Southwest Sixth Avenue.

On Thursday, police said they raided the home and seized several electronic devices. Vela, they said, “invoked his rights and refused to answer any questions.”

As of Friday morning, Vela was being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on 13 counts related to the possession of child sexual abuse material and one count of having images or videos of sexual conduct with animals.

His bond was listed in jail records as “to be set.”
