Fort Lauderdale Boat Show opens Thursday

Buy tickets online and save some cash

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Thousands of boats and boaters are expected to head to South Florida this weekend for the 54th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

The show opens Thursday with a prime time preview. General admission begins Friday and runs through Monday.

More than three million square feet of space will be dedicated to showing off a variety of sea vessels. Visitors can visit six different locations across Fort Lauderdale, which is known as the Yachting Capitol of the World.

The event runs from 10am – 7pm Thursday through Sunday. On Monday, the hours are 10 am – 4 pm.

Prime time preview tickets are $36 online and $38 at the show.

General admission prices for adults begin at $20. Tickets for children under the age of 15 start at $5. Two day passes begin at $38.

Visitors who want to buy tickets at the show must pay in cash. Box offices will only be at the following locations: Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Las Olas Marina, Las Olas Riverfront, and the Broward County Convention Center.

There are no ticket sales at the Hall of Fame Marina, The Sails and the Fort Lauderdale Hilton Marina.
