FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Only one gun was seized at local airports in the last week, according to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

TSA screeners said that the .40 automatic handgun in the above picture was loaded and a round was chambered when it was stopped at a Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport security checkpoint on Sunday.

No guns were found at Miami International Airport in the last week.

In all, TSA screeners stopped 41 guns from making it onto flights across the country in the last week. 36 of those guns were loaded.
