FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi is reducing its summer prices and hoping to entice locals with happy hour drink specials.
Water Taxi passengers will receive a $3 discount for all tickets purchased online in advance using the promotional code "SUMMER17."

The service is also offering two-for-one drinks aboard select boats.
An all-day ticket to ride the Water Taxi is $23. Happy hour tickets are $13.
Passengers can board the boats at any of the 18 stops in Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood for the special pricing.
"This summer special is our way of saying thanks," Water Taxi sales and marketing director Philip Burroughs said. "Now residents of South Florida can get a little break and enjoy relaxing rides along the New River and the Intracoastal Waterway."
Water Taxi passengers can bar hop from participating establishments, including Briny Irish Pub, 15th St. Fisheries, Bahia Cabina, Shooters and Bokampers. Happy hour times and specials vary at each location.
