MIAMI – Magic Johnson is the latest professional basketball fixture to pressure LeBron James into entering the annual "slam dunk contest." Last week, he offered James $1 million to enter.
This week, Johnson started a twitter campaign, asking everyone from athletes and entertainers to the public to encourage LeBron to participate.

Johnson posted a series of tweets from his handle @MagicJohnson. Many of his tweets were "retweeted" several thousand times. Some read, "Anybody that wants to see @KingJames dunk! RT! #GetLeBronToDunk," and "Any celebrities & entertainers that want to get @KingJames in the dunk contest RT this!"
James has always refused to enter the contest, but he's recently been putting on a dunking show before Miami's games, reigniting interest in seeing him take part.
