Miami expands free Trolley service to Brickell

Third expansion planned for summer

MIAMI - The City of Miami is launching the second route of it's new, free Trolley service in the downtown area.

The service, which begins April 27,  will run approximately every 15 minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

The Biscayne-Brickell Trolley route will travel along the Brickell/Biscayne corridor between SW 26th Road near the Rickenbacker Causeway and NE 17th Terrace near the Omni Terminal.

Major destinations include:

  • Metrorail and Metromover stations along the route
  • Financial District
  • Mary Brickell Village
  • Brickell Key
  • Miami Convention Center
  • Knight Center
  • Downtown Area Attractions
  • Bayfront Park
  • Bayside
  • Freedom Tower
  • American Airlines Arena
  • Bicentennial Park
  • Adrienne Arsht Center
  • Miami International University Art and Design
  • Margaret Pace Park

The new route follows the City's Health-District Ballpark trolley. 

In the early summer, the city will expand the free service to the Overtown area.
